In a new BBC Scotland interview, one of our young people, Brooke, shares her experience of looking for work during the coronavirus pandemic. Brooke’s interview will be aired on The Nine on BBC Scotland on Tuesday 15th September, but you can also watch part of the interview in the video above.
Brooke completed the Stage 2 Employability Fund course at our FareShare Glasgow and the West of Scotland warehouse before lockdown, and has successfully progressed onto the Stage 3 course. She has gained practical work experience and SQA accredited qualifications, and will be starting her forklift permit training soon. Brooke’s confidence and skills have increased so much that she’s even started helping us train the young people who have started the Stage 2 course!
We’re so proud of everything that Brooke has achieved in such a short space of time and delighted that she had the opportunity to share her story with BBC Scotland.
