Move On Employability Course
Move On’s employability course supports young people aged 16-25 looking to kickstart their employability and construction journey. As well as gaining a CSCS card and achieving an SCQF Level 3 Employability Award, young people will have access to quality work placements at top construction companies.
What young people can gain
Support and funding to gain CSCS card
REHIS Level 5 Elementary Health and Safety Qualification
SCQF Level 3 Core Skills
SCQF Level 3 Employability Award
Practical work experience with local firms including Cruden, CCG (Scotland), and City Access Scaffolding
Confidence building through group work
CV and interview skills workshop
Support to take next training or employment steps

Move On Employability Course is open to young people who are:
- 16-25 year olds
- Live in Edinburgh City, Lothians and Borders
- Able to self-travel to Edinburgh city centre
- Have an interest in construction
