Move On new CEO, Paul Sullivan

We’re excited to announce that Paul Sullivan is joining Move On as our new CEO.

Paul was most recently the Director for Children, Young People and Communities at Sistema Scotland, where he provided senior leadership for the Big Noise music-based social change programmes across Scotland. Having strategic and operational oversight of five centres and a staff and volunteer team of 160, as well as working closely with Government Ministers, Civil Servants, Local Authorities and other strategic stakeholders on shared policy areas around tackling poverty.

He also comes with strong experience in fundraising, income generation and financial stewardship. As former Head of Bid Development at The King’s Trust, and through his responsibilities at The Sound Lab, he has led strategic fundraising, financial planning and partnership development. He has a strong understanding of the grant-making landscape from both applicant and funder perspectives, and has established co-produced funding approaches, including developing the first funding advisory group made up of care experienced young people.

A critical thread running throughout Paul’s career is the meaningful involvement of people in shaping the design and development of the services that affect their lives – and creating sustainable change that they can see and experience. At CELCIS, the Centre for Excellence for Children’s Care and Protection, this involved leading a policy and participation team to influence and create transformational change for care experienced young people and families. This included working with senior civil servants and sector leaders on the implementation of evidence-informed policy across areas such as The Promise, poverty, trauma, and human rights.

Paul will join Move On as new CEO from 27th April. Please join us in welcoming him to the team!
