London Marathon 2026

We’re proud to have two incredible runners, Sophie and Sileshi, running the TCS London Marathon for Move On in 2026.

Sophie and Sileshi are taking on a gruelling 26.2 miles and racing not just for the finish line – but for Move On and the people we support.

Events like these are more important than ever. With rising demand for our services, every mile they run, and every pound raised, helps us continue our vital work.

Sophie's story

The TCS London Marathon will be Sophie’s first marathon and she’s currently in the thick of training.

Admitting she was “terrible at sports at school and couldn’t run more than 100 metres”, Sophie is determined to build up her speed and stamina before next spring.

Sophie is fundraising for our mentoring service, because she believes “everyone should have access to mentors who want to champion them, and give them the training, skills, and confidence to build their own future.”

Sileshi's story

Looking ahead to the TCS London Marathon in April, Sileshi says “I know it will be tough, but I’m excited for the challenge and the atmosphere in London. I can’t wait to soak it all in while raising funds for such a great cause.”

Sileshi is fundraising for Move On because he says “I really believe in their work helping young people and adults to thrive and build brighter futures.”
