What our young people say

Robbie, a young person who completed the Building Brighter Futures course then went on to secure a plumbing apprenticeship while studying for his NVQ:

“Thank you for putting me through this and for all of your help with everything. I couldn’t recommend someone else to do this more, thanks again.”

Frazer, a Building Brighter Futures graduate who is now working as a full-time labourer and has achieved his CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card:

“Building Brighter Futures was the course that got me into work – suddenly I had something that could actually get me a job. I’d applied for lots of work in the past but not got anywhere. This was the first time I was able to get a job – basically it’s handing someone the key to employment.”

Kai, who gained a Community Jobs Scotland post in our workshop after completing the course:

“It’s increased my confidence and I’ve learned a lot of new skills.”
