We’ve added up the numbers and we’re ecstatic to say our Family Food Service helped feed more than 4,500 people over the Easter holidays by supporting activities from 14 different partners!

From Easter egg hunts and gardening classes to arts and crafts and cookery lessons, by providing support and food from our FareShare warehouse, our Family Food Service helped tackle holiday hunger while the schools were closed, as well as bringing communities together to have fun, learn new skills and enjoy healthy meals together.

Partners included Rosemount Lifelong Learning, Shakespeare Street Youth Club, Glasgow Life, Glasgow Club, Community Central Halls, Axis Health Hubs, Govan Youth Information Project, PEEK Project, New Yoker Diners, Glasgow Housing Association, Lambhill Stables and Heart of Scotstoun.
