Zurich UK and DAC Beachcroft and Move On are holding an event in Glasgow Central Station on Thursday 3rd September 2015, from 8 am to 6 pm, to raise funds for Move On’s work with homeless or vulnerable young people.
The event will be a sponsored static cycle with three bikes and volunteers from all three organisations “cycling” from Aberdeen, Mallaig and Newcastle (approx. 150 miles each) to Glasgow. Each volunteer will cycle for 30-45 minutes, and their “progress” towards Glasgow will be marked on a large map.
Donors are invited to support the event in any of the following ways:
- Support an individual cyclist
- A cash donation on the day (there will be volunteer collectors on duty throughout the day)
- Online via Virgin Giving
