Every year, Move On chooses a theme for our Christmas campaign, linked with the #GivingTuesday national day of giving, which takes place this year on Tuesday 1st December.
This year, we’ve chosen the theme #ChristmasWRap to increase awareness of our services and to raise money to widen the range of activities available to the people we support.
How can you help?
Throughout November, we’re inviting everyone involved with Move On to enter our ChristmasWRap competition.
Compose a rap on anything to do with Move On and how you relate to our work. You can submit your application in any form you like, from the back of an envelope handed into a Move On member of staff to a video on our social media pages!
We’ll be publicising the competition through Facebook and Twitter, on our website, posters in our offices and by personal contact. Anyone can enter and there’ll be prizes for the best entries.
Closing date Friday 27th November, and winners will be announced on – Tuesday 1st December.
What else are we doing?
On Thursday 3rd December, we’ll be at St James’s Centre in Edinburgh wrapping gifts for the public. If you’d like to help out on the day, contact any member of Edinburgh staff, or just come along on the day and offer moral support!
